Become a Profitable Cover Designer
IN JUST 6 WEEKS
(Even if you’ve never designed anything before)
How would you like to…
- Go from knowing zilch about design to creating an eye-catching cozy cover?
- Make money through a fun and creative outlet!
- Have people ask who designed your covers, and once they hear it was you, want to know, “Can I hire you to do mine too?”
- Make your own schedule doing something you love and live your best life?
Here’s a little secret between me and you…
- I have all of these creative ideas running through my mind. If only I could execute them on my own.
- I see authors who design as a side hustle, and I’d really like a good side hustle! Not one that takes a ton of capital or inventory to start.
- How do I even start down this road? I don’t have time for a design degree.
- I wish I had the knowledge to proceed, and that won’t overwhelm me.
-
ENJOY THE CREATIVE PROCESS From premade to custom cover designs, the process will be so fun and fulfilling! Not to mention the extra spending money you’ll get along the way!
-
WORK FOR YOURSELF If you’re like me, you’ve spent years in dead-end jobs, where you’re building someone else’s dream life! It’s time to build yours!
-
CREATE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE When you are a cover designer, you will have the freedom to create your own work schedule. Want to design only a couple of days a week or month at it — that’s totally up to you. Or grow it to a fulltime endeavor, like me!
-
HELP THE BEST CLIENTS From working in retail to medical offices to event planning, I’ve never come across a better clientele than cozy authors. They love what they do and their passion is contagious.
-
BEAT INFLATION Need extra $cash$ for gas, groceries, or a spa day? Enjoy watching money come through your design business to help take care of your growing needs. When you’ve got an extra income stream of your own, you can budget better during hard times.
-
STAY PASSIONATE This isn’t a bean-counting job. You can reap the emotional rewards of hearing clients say they love your work, of readers commenting that the cover drew them in, of smiling at the end of the day because you’re proud of what you accomplished.
Sure, you could hire a designer to do it for you— but is that the best answer for you and your future?
-
Booked Out
You need your cover like now. Only problem is, your designer can’t fit you in until next season! -
Revision Complications
You have a very specific idea in your head on how you want your cover to look, and you just can’t get on the same page as your designer. -
Price Concerns
Your series is going to be at least 5 books long. Your wallet is too tight and you’ve found out that Canva is not going to cut it!
But DIY-ing it all alone comes with a whole other set of problems…
- “There are more elements to designing a cozy cover than I understand!”
- “My vision is still not coming through. Why?”
- “Everyone told me to just use Canva, but it’s so limiting!”
- You’re excited to get the tips and tricks to one or both of the very different cozy cover art styles: vector and photo-manipulation.
- Whether you have no experience or a lot, you want to reap the instructional rewards that will catapult your cozy cover designing skills to new heights!
- And you’re ready to learn from an award-winning designer with clients that have hit a variety of lists, from the WALL STREET JOURNAL to USA TODAY to NEW YORK TIMES: me!
Cozy Cover Course will take you from
“I don’t know where to start!”
to confidently designing beautiful covers
BEFORE I EVER BECAME A Cozy cover designer…
I was an indie author who started with my own book covers.
It turns out my designs grabbed the attention of Bookbub. Two of my cozy titles rocketed to the #1 spot in the entire Amazon free store. Subsequently, I had other authors asking who designed my covers, asking if they could hire me.
I finally took the leap into formally offering my services to authors years later, and I’ve never looked back.
Cozy Cover Course offers easy-to-follow videos, pictures, text and bonuses that will teach you step by step what it takes to create award-winning cozy covers, so you can say yes to success.
This is the ONLY Cozy Cover Course out there
When you join Cozy Cover Course, you will receive EVERYTHING you need to start creating and selling your own amazing cozy covers.
Q: How long does the course take?
A: How about, “As long as you want it to?” You’ll have immediate access to the entire course as soon as you purchase, so you can work through all the material at your own pace. Many students like to do one lesson a week, but others love the thrill of cranking it all out at once. It’s totally up to you! But you can definitely fast-track yourself and get your covers up selling within a couple weeks if you work on this full-time!
Q: Can I use Canva instead of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator?
A: You could but do you really want to? All of the design lessons are taught in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, because I want you to be able to create beautiful covers that make people say WOW — and these are the BEST programs to help you do it. We’re going to create upscale covers worthy of praise. Let everyone else use Canva – you’re moving onto something better!
Q: How much is Adobe Photoshop and IIllustrator?
A: All Adobe software subscriptions are month-to-month so you can unsubscribe whenever you want and re-subscribe as needed. You’ll want access to the Creative Cloud, which includes BOTH of these.
Q: Can I hire someone to make a cover for me?
A: Yes! You can hire me, for instance! I would love to help you get your series off the ground with beautiful covers if you’d rather not learn the ins and outs.
Q: What if I’m already a designer – will I get anything out of this course?
A: I believe you will. I share personal design preferences of mine, along with some of my secret strategies and favorite filters and fonts.
Q: What if I change my mind. Can I get a refund?
A: No. You can’t love the course without getting instant access to all of the modules, all of the video lessons, slideshows, downloadable PDFs and bonuses
–so for that reason, I’m not able to offer refunds due to the digital nature of the course. I want to share everything with you right away, right now. Do you love cozy covers + love the idea of creating your own, whether it’s for personal or commercial use? Then you won’t hate this course. If there’s something missing from this course, you can guarantee that I’m in the process of adding it.
Q: What happens after I purchase?
A: So glad you asked! Because I want to reward you for jumping in with both feet, you’ll promptly receive an email where you can access all video lessons + text + downloadables and get started right away! There’s no waiting.

About your Cozy Cover Course Professor…
Hello, there – I’m Molly Burton, owner of cozycoverdesigns.com, where I continue to help create so many covers for cozy authors, from beginners to best sellers! My award-winning services have been a joy of mine! This has to be one of the best jobs out there–seriously! I don’t think I’ll ever retire.
I minored in art, and have taken Photoshop classes since Macs were the new invention. I’ve learned all sorts of stuff, so you don’t have to! Seriously, someone can get lost in the weeds of all the tools and filters, and blending modes, and more! I’ll show you what you’ll want to pay attention to!
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and have settled in downhome Idaho. I love creating fun from my imagination, which is why I started out by writing YA romance and cozy mysteries. Two of my cozies have made it to the #1 spot out of all free books on Amazon. My passion is real.
